DMRC invites tender to procure 39 Rolling Stock for Phase-1 project of Odisha Metro
The approximate cost of the project is Rs 5 crore and time required is 149 weeks.
Odisha’s first metro project in Bhubaneswar with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC), is taking a major step forward by inviting tender for the procurement of 39 standard gauge rolling stock cars.
This development marks a critical phase in the Bhubaneswar Metro project, aiming to enhance urban mobility with modern amenities.
A Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS) was announced by the Government of Odisha in the Bhubaneswar Region covering the route from Bhubaneswar Airport to Trisulia Square and other areas of the city. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) was engaged for preparation of the Detailed Project Report for the Metro Rail system from Bhubaneswar Airport to Trisulia Square.
