DMRC and DB Engineering forms strategic partnership for urban transit excellence

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH have signed an MoU to enhance expertise in urban mass transit projects. This partnership will leverage joint opportunities in system engineering, project management, and construction supervision for MRT and LRT projects, paving the way for innovation and operational efficiency.

The MoU outlines multiple focus areas for collaboration, including System Engineering & Integration, General Engineering Consultancy, and Project Management. Both entities will share their technical know-how, offering advanced solutions for urban transit developments.

DMRC and DB Engineering will also collaborate on Construction Supervision, acting as FIDIC or Independent Engineers as required.

This partnership underscores a commitment to ensuring high-quality project delivery across various Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT) systems. The MoU was formalized by senior representatives of both organizations—Shri Sandeep Gemawat, Sr. General Manager (Business Development) at DMRC, and Shri Milind Nirmal, Executive Director at DB Engineering, marking a new phase of collaboration for both firms.
