Commodore Pradeep Patel took over Commanding Officer post of INS Kalinga
The Officer has served in both ENC and WNC onboard frontline Warships INS Ranjit, INS Pralaya, INS Tabar and INS Trikand.
New Delhi: Commodore Pradeep Patel took over as the Commanding Officer of INS Kalinga and Station Commander, Naval Station Bheemunipatnam from Commodore C S Nayar at a ceremony held at INS Kalinga on 26 Dec 2023.
Commodore Pradeep Patel was commissioned into the Indian Navy on 01 Jan 1996. The Officer has served in both ENC and WNC onboard frontline Warships INS Ranjit, INS Pralaya, INS Tabar and INS Trikand.

Pradeep Patel has been commended by CNS in 2003 and Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief in 2001 and 2008. The Officer has commissioned INS Trikand as Electrical Officer and has been closely associated with the maintenance of Weapon systems.
