Coal Secretary Amrit Lal Meena on Chhattisgarh visit, took review meeting of SECL

Coal Secretary Shri Amrit Lal Meena (IAS), who arrived in Chhattisgarh, took a review meeting of SECL today on 04 July 2024. Coal India Chairman Shri PM Prasad and from SECL top management CMD Dr. Prem Sagar Mishra, Director (Operations) Shri SN Kapri, Director (Technical) Shri N Franklin Jaikumar and Director (Personnel) Shri Biranchi Das were present in the meeting.
In the meeting, the Regional General Managers of SECL's megaprojects Gevra, Dipka and Kusmunda informed Coal Secretary Shri Meena on various topics like production-productivity in megaprojects, first-mile connectivity in coal dispatch, mine expansion, land acquisition, environment etc. through PowerPoint presentation and were apprised about the upcoming plans.

In the meeting, Mr. Meena also discussed coal dispatch and availability of rail racks with General Manager, South East Central Railway Ms. Neenu Itiera, who was connected through VC.
While discussing with the CERL/CEWRL team in the meeting, Mr. Meena also reviewed the progress of rail corridor projects. Along with this, various topics related to forest and environment, plan/project, sales/marketing, land revenue etc. were also discussed.
Earlier, Coal Secretary Mr. Amrit Lal Meena (IAS) and Coal India Chairman Mr. PM Prasad, who reached Raipur on Chhattisgarh visit, were given a warm welcome by CMD Dr. Prem Sagar Mishra.
