The Government has approved a pioneering scheme for Coal Gasification, offering robust financial incentives of Rs. 8500 Cr. Ministry of Coal introduced a stringent two-stage bidding process for coal/lignite gasification projects, ensuring that only the most qualified bidders advance to the financial stage.

Stage I (Technical Bid Stage): This stage involves the evaluation of bids to ensure compliance with the Eligibility Parameters and the Qualification Criteria.

Stage II (Financial Bid Stage): The Financial Bids of the TQBs declared in Stage- I will be eligible for the evaluation of their financial proposals submitted in terms of the RFP. Now, Last date for bid submission: 11.11.2024
