Coal minister Pralhad Joshi reviewed CIL Subsidiaries

Jharkhand: Shri Pralhad Joshi, Hon’ble Union Minister of Coal, Mines & Parliamentary Affairs chaired a review meeting of CCL, ECL, BCCL & CMPDI at CCL Hq. in Ranchi, Jharkhand. 

Smt. Vismita Tej, Additional Secretary, Govt. of India, Ministry of Coal, Shri Mukesh Choudhary, Director (Marketing) - CIL, Shri P.M. Prasad, CMD - CCL, Shri A.P. Panda, CMD, ECL, Shri Samiran Dutta, CMD - BCCL and Shri Manoj Kumar, CMD – CMPDI were present in the review meeting.

During his Ranchi visit, Shri Joshi also met Shri Hemant Soren, Hon’ble Chief Minister Jharkhand. An MoU between ECL and Jharkhand Govt. to build a 300 bed hospital in Godda, Jharkhand and another MoU between CCL and Jharkhand Govt. to build a library in Ranchi University campus were also signed in presence of Hon’ble Coal Minister and Hon’ble Chief Minister Jharkhand. 

Shri Joshi also inaugurated an Executive Hostel and Security Barrack at CCL’s Gandhi Nagar Colony in Ranchi.
