Cmde D.K. Murali, IN (Retd.) Joins as CMD of BECIL
With the vision and leadership of Cmde D.K. Murali, IN (Retd.), BECIL anticipates a dynamic period of growth and innovation.
New Delhi: Cmde D.K. Murali, IN (Retd.) has assumed the charge of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited (BECIL) a Mini Ratna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting.
Prior to this, Cmde D.K. Murali, IN (Retd.) had served in the Indian Navy, for nearly 35 years, having been commissioned as an officer in Nov 1989. He has completed B. Tech in Electrical Engineering, Master of Engineering in Electronics & Tele Communication, PG Diploma in Management Studies and M.Phil in Defence & Strategic Studies.
Read Also : SECI Issues Tender For 30 MW Rooftop Solar ProjectsDuring his Naval career, he held a variety of appointments, including sea appointments on frontline Naval warships, as well as appointments in Training/ Inspection/ Ship Repair Yards/ Trials units, Projects and Tenures at Command and Naval Headquarters, which helped him gain vast experience in diverse fields like Strategic Planning, Operations, Large Organizational Leadership, Program Management, Technology Management, R&D/Management of Advanced Technology Systems, Design & Development of Software Projects, Techno-Commercial Contracts and Supply Chain Management.

Murali, IN (Retd.) will be accountable to the Board of Directors and Government of India, and will be responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of BECIL to achieve its corporate objectives and performance goals. Regarding his role, the CMD said: "I am honored to join BECIL and lead this esteemed organization. I look forward to working with the talented team of BECIL to drive innovation, excellence, and growth in the core areas of operation of BECIL.”
