CIL signs MoU with EdCIL to impart Digital Education in Jharkhand
Jharkhand: Coal India, as a part of its CSR initiative, has signed an MoU with EdCIL (India) Ltd. for digitising education in 11 districts of Jharkhand. This CSR initiative of the company aims to enrich students with high-quality educational content, resulting in improved learning outcomes in schools around the coal mining areas of CIL subsidiaries ECL, BCCL, and CCL in the state.
Read Also : New Appointments and recommendations issued by GovernmentAs a part of this project, one smart classroom and one ICT (Information & Communication Technology) lab will be set up in each identified school. The project also includes provisions for teacher training and three years of maintenance of the installed equipment.
Smt. Rupinder Brar, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Coal (MoC), Govt. of India; Shri Vinay Ranjan, Director (Personnel & IR), CIL; Shri Manoj Kumar, CMD, EdCIL (India) Ltd., along with senior officials of MoC, CIL, and EdCIL, were present on this occasion.
