CIL Chairman Inaugurates Webinar on Drone Technology

New Delhi: Shri. Pramod Agrawal, Chairman, Coal India Limited inaugurated the webinar on “Use of Drone Technology in Mining Industry” in Kolkata. Shri. Vinay Ranjan, Director - P&IR, CIL, Dr. B. Veera Reddy, DT, CIL, Shri. Debasish Nanda, Director-BD, CIL, and senior officials were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman, CIL emphasised the optimum use of technology and digitalisation in coal mining. 

The seminar also pondered on the use of drone technology for road monitoring, blast analysis, stockpile management, and slope analysis. Senior officials of CIL, its companies, mining industry experts, and academicians  participated in this webinar
