Chhattisgarh CM Shri Vishnudev Sai meets SECL CMD Dr. Prem Sagar Mishra
SECL's rail corridor projects, being developed at a cost of approximately Rs 10,000 crore, will become the harbingers of development in the remote areas of the state.
SECL CMD Dr Prem Sagar Mishra paid a courtesy call to Honorable Chief Minister Chhattisgarh Shri Vishnudev Sai at Pahuna Government Guest House in the capital Raipur.
On this occasion, CMD SECL underlined the role of SECL in the all-round development of Chhattisgarh and said that the SECL family is looking forward for your continuous guidance and cooperation.
Read Also : BEL received Special Jury Supplier Award from ThalesHe also informed about various developmental works being done through CSR, Rail Corridor Projects, FMC Projects etc. Last year SECL had deposited a revenue of about Rs 5000 crore in the treasury, which is expected to increase to about Rs 6000 crore this year.
In the last five years, under CSR, SECL has implemented projects worth about Rs 250 crore for the development of Chhattisgarh which are related to many areas like education, health, basic development etc.

Through this, more than 300 kilometers of rail network is being developed. The 40 MW ground mounted grid connected solar project being developed in Bishrampur and Bhatgaon area of ??Surajpur district under sustainable development is one of the biggest solar projects in Koylanchal. Three new eco parks are being established in Korba Coalfields while Manikpur Pokhri is being developed as an eco tourism site.
Honourable Chief Minister gave best wishes for SECL's progress while assuring continuous support from the state government.
