Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), recognized as a 'Maharatna' has collaborated with Bangalore-based IONAGE, a key player in the e-Mobility services sector.

This partnership is set to advance India's electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, marking a significant move towards the country's sustainable mobility aspirations.

This collaboration underscores BPCL's dedication to bolstering India's EV infrastructure, aiming to simplify the charging process for EV owners.

By incorporating its EV chargers into IONAGE's comprehensive platform, BPCL strives to enhance the convenience and reach of its charging facilities. This move is in line with India's 2030 EV adoption ambitions, emphasizing BPCL's role in fostering a greener and more sustainable transportation future.

The official signing of the agreement was done in the presence of Shri S. Kannan, Chief General Manager of Marketing (Retail), BPCL, and Shri Vimal Kumar, Chief Executive Officer, IONAGE, in the presence of Shri Pardeep Goyal, Business Head, of Retail, BPCL. This event marked the continuation of a fruitful partnership aimed at transforming India's electric mobility landscape.

Through its alliance with IONAGE, BPCL reiterates its commitment to making EV charging more accessible and convenient for Indian consumers, supporting the national goal for EV adoption by 2030.

IONAGE aims to integrate over 100,000 EV chargers into its platform by 2028, establishing itself as a frontrunner in the e-Mobility sector. As India progresses with its transition to electric mobility, supported by government initiatives and growing consumer interest, the expansion of public charging stations plays a crucial role.
