BHEL bags award for innovation and excellence in IT

New Delhi: For innovation and excellence in the field of information technology, BHEL has been awarded the Governance Now PSU IT Award for the year 2024. The company was unanimously selected for the award in the category of Excellence in Software Development, by an independent jury.

The award was received by Sh. J.P. Srivastava, Director (E, R&D) along with other senior officials of the company at a function held in New Delhi. BHEL has won the PSU IT award for development of Material Consolidation and Optimisation Portal (M-COP), an innovative solution designed to enhance procurement processes.M-COP has demonstrated significant improvements in BHEL's operations including cost reduction and increased operational efficiency. The Governance Now PSU IT Awards recognise outstanding achievements in information technology in the Public Sector.
