BEE organized workshop to train Banks/NBFC’s officials on “Energy Efficiency Financing”
This workshop covered various significant features of energy efficiency projects, business models, financing needs, #riskmanagement approaches, etc., and also discussed energy efficiency schemes of BEE.
New Delhi: BEE in association with the National Power Training Institute (NPTI) organized the fourth training workshop (Phase- III) to train the officials of Banks/NBFC’s on “Energy Efficiency Financing” during 19-20 January 2023 at NPTI, Alappuzha, Kerala. 30 officials from different banks like Union Bank, Federal Bank, State Bank of India, Indian Bank, Central bank of India, Canara Bank, and Power Finance Corporation participated in this workshop.
This workshop covered various significant features of energy efficiency projects, business models, financing needs, #riskmanagement approaches, etc., and also discussed energy efficiency schemes of BEE.
As a part of the training workshop, the trainees visited M/s Travancore Cochin Chemicals (TCC), Udyog Mandal, Cochin, Kerala on 19th January 2023. The team of FIs visited various units in this plant where EE technologies have been adopted like HCL Synthesis unit with steam co-generation; multi-fuel boiler; 125 TPD Membrane Cell Plant etc
