BECIL signed MoU with SAIL BSP to Install Cctv Surveillance System

New Delhi- SAIL, Bhilai Steel Plant on April 08, 2022, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with BECIL regarding the Installation of a Perimeter Cctv Surveillance System at Bhilai Steel Plant. 

The tender for the turnkey project has been awarded to BECIL for the value of 19.89 crores. Mr Asit Saha CGM ( instrumentation and automation, SAIL) and PH Sharma GM ( In Charge commercial, SAIL) signed MOU with Vishal Singh Rotele Assistant Manager (IT, BECIL). 

The contract includes security and surveillance of perimeter of SAIL Bhilai steel plant with over 570 high featured cameras, wagon monitoring system and monitoring station with ANPR and command and control room for entire sail BSP perimeter of over 30 km. 

This project will increase the security and surveillance of the Bhilai Steel plant many folds and will set a roadmap for the new age equipment for monitoring and vigilance for Steel plants.

The project essentially embodies the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India.
