Badampahar - Tatanagar MEMU train service improving rail connectivity in eastern Odisha

New Delhi: Hon’ble President Smt. Droupadi Murmu flagged off Badampahar - Tatanagar MEMU train service improving rail connectivity in eastern Odisha.

The Badampahar - Tatanagar MEMU train service will operate six days a week, except Sundays, and will have stoppages at Haludpukur, Sidhirsai, Bahalda Road, Aunlajori, Rairangpur, Kuldiha, and Chhanua stations en route. This new train service is expected to benefit local businessmen, small traders, daily workers, students, and other residents of the region.

In addition to flagging off the new train service, Hon'ble President Smt. Droupadi Murmu also laid the foundation stone for the redevelopment of Badampahar Railway Station under the Amrit Station Scheme. This redevelopment project is expected to transform the station into a modern and user-friendly facility.
