NEW DELHI- AAI, GoI and the Govt. of West Bengal are initiating efforts to revamp flight operations at Cooch Behar Airport under the UDAN scheme.
The domestic airport covers an area of 174.04 acres and caters to the districts of Cooch Behar, Alipurduar and adjoining areas of Assam state.
India One Air airline intends to start its operation from 21st Feb'23 with its nine seaters Cessna Caravan 208B aircraft from Kolkata to Cooch Behar. The flight connectivity from Kolkata to this heritage city will significantly reduce travel time.
