BHEL should use swap card system to meet production target: HMS Union General Secy
To meet up the demand it is necessary to restart the swap card system because the unit will complete a turnover of more than 2500 crores in this financial year, said Union General Secretary Amar Singh Rathore.

Bhopal: The Third wave of COVID19 has set in, which can also lead towards the supply chain, production level, and other breakdowns in India. However, the country is now analyzing the process and trying to find out the best possibilities to work on.
One of these has been identified in an Indian government-owned manufacturing enterprise, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL). According to the sources BHEL's Bhopal unit and General Secretary of HMS Union are in discussion to find out the best option for manufacturing and production.
Currently, BHEL is India's largest power generation equipment manufacturer, engaged in the design, engineering, manufacturing, construction, testing, commissioning and servicing of a wide range of products, systems and services for the core sectors of the economy, viz. power, transmission, industry, transportation, renewable energy, oil & gas, and defence.
According to the BHEL daily News, Keeping the omicron in mind, the BHEL Bhopal unit is planning to switch from a biometric system to a swap card system. This was stated by Amar Singh Rathore, General Secretary of HMS Union in discussion with BHEL General Manager Head Sushil Kumar Baweja.
To meet up the demand it is necessary to restart the swap card system because the unit will complete a turnover of more than 2500 crores in this financial year, said Union General Secretary Amar Singh Rathore.
Further in the upcoming Rathore has demanded from the corporate that in the joint committee meeting, a decision should be taken after discussing the business challenges as well as the demands of the employees.
