The 20th meeting of the Town Official Language Implementation Committee was held under the chairmanship of Committee Chairman B. Ramachandra Rao in the conference room of NTPC Administrative Building.

NEW DELHI- The 20th meeting of the Town Official Language Implementation Committee was held under the chairmanship of Committee Chairman B. Ramachandra Rao in the conference room of NTPC Administrative Building. In the meeting, there was a detailed discussion on various items including use of official language, compliance of rules, publicity, implementation and objectives of the meeting and member-offices were requested to take action on these items with sensitivity.
While presiding over the meeting, Committee Chairman B. Ramachandra Rao, Chief General Manager, NTPC Korba welcomed all the member-office representatives and said in his address that through Narakas we want to connect with all of you and discuss among ourselves. Have had the good fortune to do so. We have to give a new direction to Hindi implementation by sharing official language related activities with each other. Expressing confidence, Shri Rao said that with the cooperation of all of you, we will be successful in making official language Hindi prestigious.
It was unanimously decided in the meeting that the upcoming meetings of Narakas would be held in other member-offices. In this sequence, the General Manager of SECL urged for the next meeting of Narakas to be held at SECL Gevra.
Before the meeting, Human Resource Head Prabhat Ram welcomed and felicitated the Chairman by giving him a book. The meeting was attended by Prabhat Ram, Head of HR, NTPC Korba, Office Heads of member offices and Official Language Officers. The proceedings of the meeting were conducted by Pawan Kumar Mishra, Member-Secretary, Narakas, Manager (Official Language), NTPC Korba.
