New Delhi- To promote a healthy lifestyle among employees and family members, 20 days of online Yoga Session is being organized at NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters. The virtual Yoga Session commenced with the inauguration by Shri MVR Reddy, RED (Coal Mining), and Smt Padma Reddy, President, Swayamsiddha Ladies Club (SLC) in the August presence of Shri Srinivas K Murthy, GM(HR) & Smt Lakshmi Murthy, Vice President (SLC) . The program is organized with a joint effort by NTPC CMHQ and Swayamsiddha Ladies Club from June 1-20,2023.
The Yoga session was conducted by Shri Ramani Ranjan Panigrahi, a Faculty and Yoga Expert with experience of more than three decades of, to his credit he was the Yoga Faculty for Central Coal Fields, IICM(Ranchi) & Bangalore University and conducted yoga and Stress Management training at Corporate Houses like SAIL, Mecon, etc both in India and abroad.

Smt Padma Reddy, President, SLC sharing on the occasion said that real wealth is maintaining good health which can be attained with regular physical activity and Yoga.

During the first day of the session, he demonstrated yoga postures which enhance general fitness and shared the importance of breathing exercises to manage stress.
The yoga session saw participation of employees and members of Swayamsiddha Ladies Club. The concluding day of the yoga session will be held on June 21, on International Day of Yoga this month.
