SECL Manikpur Mine set a record; completes coal production target of 49 lakh tonnes ahead of time

Chhattisgarh: Manikpur Mine again set the record and completed the coal production target for the year 2021-22 ahead of time of 49 lakh tonnes. S K Pal, Director Technical (Planning and Project), SECL himself reached Manikpur and congratulated the entire team of Manikpur, said "I am confident that whatever coal production target will be set for Manikpur in the coming years, it will be implemented with this dedication. Will complete on time. Manikpur's work culture has resulted in achieving production targets ahead of time."
Shri Vishwanath Singh, General Manager, SECL Korba Region also thanked the entire team of Manikpur. Manikpur Mine has achieved its coal production target for the eighth consecutive year since 2014-15. Till the year 17-18, the coal production was 35 lakh tonnes, after that after getting the environment permission for the production of 49 lakh tonnes, the coal production of 49 lakh tonnes is being done for four consecutive years.
Congratulating all the employees and officers, Manikpur General Manager Mr. Deepak Pandya said that along with production, we have also done 50 lakh tonnes of coal dispatch and 149 lakh cubic meters of OBR and all this is the result of hard work and dedication of the employees here. The role of labor representatives and contract workers is important in achieving the target of production, everyone deserves congratulations.
