WCL concludes Official Language Implementation Committee meeting
Chairman-cum-Managing Director Shri J.P. Dwivedi said that the basic spirit behind reviewing the Hindi progress report every quarter is to maintain the continuity of the use of Hindi in office work.
WCL concludes Official Language Implementation Committee meeting
Western Coalfields Limited today concluded the meeting of the Official Language Implementation Committee under the chairmanship of Chairman-cum-Managing Director Shri J.P. Dwivedi. Director (Finance) and Personnel Shri Bikram Ghosh was specially present on this occasion. The working of Official Language during the quarter ended on 30 September 2024 was reviewed in the meeting.
Chairman-cum-Managing Director Shri J.P. Dwivedi said that the basic spirit behind reviewing the Hindi progress report every quarter is to maintain the continuity of the use of Hindi in office work. He expressed happiness during the review and said that the use of Hindi in WCL has increased significantly as compared to earlier.

He congratulated all the department heads, officers and employees. Shri Dwivedi said that as per the annual programme issued by the Government of India, the Official Language Department should inspect the status of use of official language Hindi in regional offices and departments of the headquarters, so that the veracity of the data of the sent report can be established.

The meeting was conducted and the guests were welcomed by the Head of Department (Official Language) Shri Rakesh Kumar Singh. Heads of departments, personnel managers from the regions, Official Language Nodal Officers etc. were present in the meeting.
