SECL enhances Digital Education in Anuppur, MP with Rs 13.73 Crore initiative under Digi Vidya Program

The project will be implemented by the District Administration, Anuppur along with EdCIL India Limited. This CSR initiative of SECL is a part of the 'Digi Vidya' program, which aims to promote digital education in the Coalfields region.

SECL has taken a significant step towards promoting digital education under the ‘Digi Vidya’ program at Anuppur, Madhya Pradesh. A tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), District Administration, Anuppur, and EdCIL India Limited for the installation of 265 no. of Smart Classroom Solutions and 84 no. Science Labs worth Rs  13.73 Crore in 84 no. of Govt. Higher Secondary and High Schools of Anuppur district, Madhya Pradesh under CSR activities of SECL.

The MoU was signed in the presence of key dignitaries, including Shri Biranchi Das, Director (P), SECL (through VC), Shri Sudhakar Singh Baghel, ADM, Anuppur, Ms. Sarita Nayak, Assistant Commissioner, Tribal Affairs Department, Anuppur and Shri Prabhakar Ram Tripathi, Area General Manager, SECL Jamuna Kotma Area and officials from SECL and EdCIL.

The project will be implemented by the District Administration, Anuppur along with EdCIL India Limited. This CSR initiative of SECL is a part of the 'Digi Vidya' program, which aims to promote digital education in the Coalfields region.

The project was inaugurated at Government Excellence Higher Secondary School, Anuppur. SECL's efforts to promote digital education are commendable and this project is expected to benefit thousands of students in the region. SECL has also installed 782 no. of smart classroom solutions in 782 no. of Govt. Schools at Korba, Raigarh districts of Chhattisgarh, and Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh.
