NTPC Kaniha distributes assistive living devices to differently abled individuals under CSR

New Delhi: NTPC Kaniha reaffirmed its commitment to inclusivity and social responsibility by distributing assistive living devices to differently abled individuals and senior citizens under its CSR initiative. The special distribution camp provided essential mobility aids including tricycles, wheelchairs, hearing aids and blind canes, enhancing the beneficiaries’ independence and quality of life.
The event commenced with an address by Shri A. K. Sehgal, Executive Director (Kaniha), who highlighted NTPC’s dedication to social welfare and expressed hope that the assistive devices would empower beneficiaries by improving their mobility and well-being. Senior officials including Shri G. Mohakul, Chief Medical Officer, Shri Manoranjan Panigrahi, AGM (EMD & MTP), Smt Sujita Rath, AGM (HR) and Shri Jitendra Kumar, Sr Manager (HR) graced the occasion alongside representatives from ALIMCO and the CSR team.

The initiative followed a comprehensive disability assessment camp conducted in collaboration with ALIMCO to ensure targeted support for those in need. Through such meaningful CSR interventions NTPC Kaniha continues to foster an inclusive and empowered society reaffirming its commitment to community development.
