NEW DELHI- Under its "Health for All Campaign", Meja Urja Nigam Private Limited, a joint venture of UPRVUNL & NTPC Limited, has started organizing a series of free medical camps in the villages situated near the plant area. In this series, the first free medical camp was organized in the Jhariahi Village on 4th February 2023 by the HR-R&R department in coordination with the Aarogyam Hospital.
Around 110 people have participated in the camp. Various routine medical tests were conducted and medical advisory, as well as free medicines, were distributed among the beneficiaries for their better health.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Sandeep Gupta, CMO (Aarogyam Hospital) in presence of Shri Akhila KP Pattnaik, AGM (HR).
Shri Kedar Ranjan Pandu, CEO (MUNPL) appreciated the initiative taken in the direction of health & well being as well as community development. Besides, he encouraged the “Heath for All campaign” of MUNPL and told that six more such medical camps will be organized for the beneficiaries in the near future.
