Sterlite Power secures new orders worth INR 2,250 crores marking its highest order book win for the current financial year
Mumbai - Sterlite Power, a leading global power products and solutions business, has won significant new orders worth INR 2,250 crores and secured L1 positions in orders worth 650 Cr in Q3 FY’25 marking its highest order book win in the current financial year. These orders are spread across Sterlite’s Global Products and Services (GPS) business, including high-performance conductors, Optical Ground Wire (OPGW), power cables, and specialized Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services.
The orders are focused on advancing India’s green energy transmission infrastructure and expanding the company’s global footprint. The company continues to build its market presence by exporting high-performance green products to key international markets in the Americas, the European Union, Africa, and the Middle East.

High-Performance Conductors & OPGW
Sterlite Power’s Overhead Conductor business has secured orders for high-performance conductors which include supply for green energy transmission projects in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana, and Maharashtra. These projects would help connect 42 GW of renewable energy to the national grid thereby maintaining Sterlite’s strong presence in contributing towards sustainable energy solutions. The business has also secured OPGW orders from Power Grid Corporation of India and several state utilities.
Power Cables
Power Cables business continued to expand its presence in Medium Voltage (MV), High Voltage (HV), and Extra High Voltage (EHV) cables. These orders are towards supply of Cables for projects with state utilities. This business is making inroads in being one of the pioneers in the Wire and Cable market.
Specialized EPC Services
Sterlite Power’s Specialized EPC Services business secured contracts from leading utilities including a major order from PGCIL for OPGW installation over a 1900 km stretch. Additional key EPC contracts include work with DVC and GETCO, demonstrating the company’s comprehensive capabilities in providing end-to-end transmission solutions.
