The Indian Institute of Coal Management (IICM) was established in 1994 and is registered under the Societies Act. Located in Kanke, Ranchi, IICM is set amidst a picturesque green campus, providing a serene environment conducive to learning and development. Known as a Centre of Excellence, IICM boasts state-of-the-art facilities and a dedicated team of professionals. 

IICM offers a holistic approach to education and training, focusing on the development of the body, mind, and soul of its participants. The institute integrates yoga, gym, swimming, and sports into its regular training curriculum. Reflective experience-sharing sessions and ethical decision-making inputs are also part of all training programs, regardless of their theme.

The institute conducts a wide range of programs, including Management and Technical Development Programs, Workshops, Seminars, and Thematic Programs. It caters to approximately 3,000 executives annually, making it the largest corporate training institute of its kind in India. IICM’s training programs cover diverse professional disciplines such as Mining, Geology, Engineering, Marketing, Personnel & Administration, Finance, Materials Management, Environment Management, IT, and Computers.
