Bridge & Roof Company (India) Limited (B&R) is a major Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India. B&R was established on 16 January 1920 as a small manufacturer at its workshop in Howrah, West Bengal. Over the years, the company has grown to become one of the largest and most experienced engineering, construction and project management companies in India  and EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) solutions.

The company's areas of activity include infrastructure, construction, oil & gas, power and railways . B&R has completed many major projects  in India and internationally, demonstrating its expertise in the construction of bridges, buildings, commercial structures and complex projects . It has become a public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.

The company is now classified as  Miniratna Category I and Scheduled CPSE, reflecting its significant contribution to the construction sector. Reputation as a well-established company. The company is headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal and  operates from various regional and sub-regional offices across India.
