Shri Mukul Saran Mathur has taken charge as the new General Manager of South Western Railway. A 1988-batch Indian Railway Traffic Officer, he brings extensive experience across multiple railway zones and the Railway Board.
Recognized for his leadership in infrastructure and digital transformation, he has received several prestigious awards. Throughout his illustrious career, Shri Mathur has held key leadership positions in Central Railway, Northern Railway, East Coast Railway, West Central Railway, and the Railway Board.
His past roles include Principal Executive Director (Infrastructure), Principal Chief Operations Manager (West Central Railway), Principal Chief Commercial Manager, Divisional Railway Manager (Waltair), and Executive Director (PPP) at the Railway Board.
