Senior IAS Officer, Bhuvnesh Kumar gets additional charge as UIDAI CEO
Bhuvnesh Kumar (IAS) has been given a six-month extension of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) position of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) by the Central Government.
Kumar has been given the additional responsibility of UIDAI's CEO position with effect from January 1, 2025, for six months or until the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier, under an order issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) on March 5.
Kumar is an Uttar Pradesh cadre Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from the 1995 batch. He currently works at the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology as an Additional Secretary.
