Former IAS Officer, Raghav Chandra appointed as Professor in IIM-Calcutta
Before leaving the service, Chandra held the positions of Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Tribes; Chairman, NHAI; and Secretary, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs.
Retired IAS Officer of 1982 batch, Raghav Chandra, has been appointed as Professor of Practice in IIM, Calcutta in the Academic Group of Public Policy and Management.
Before leaving the service, Chandra held the positions of Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Tribes; Chairman, NHAI; and Secretary, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs. Chandra graduated from the University of Delhi with a Bachelor of Science in 1978 and a Master of Science in 1980.
In 1998, he completed a Master of Public Administration program at Harvard University. He also received a Japan-World Bank Merit Scholarship. He has held senior management positions in a number of organisations connected to the Union of India and several State Governments.
