Anuj Kumar Singh appointed as Joint Secretary in UPSC

New Delhi: IRSEE Officer, Anuj Kumar Singh has been appointed as Joint Secretary (Director level) in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Delhi. The appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme marks five years or until more instructions, whichever comes first.

From the 2009 batch, Mr Singh is an Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineer officer. The Ministry of Railways suggested his Central deputation nomination. Following his appointment, he has been assigned to take on his new post at UPSC immediately.

As such, he is to be released from his present responsibilities soon to enable a seamless transfer. Having worked in the railway industry for a lot of years, Singh's knowledge should be quite valuable for UPSC's operational and administrative structure.
