RBI grants authorization to BharatPe Group arm to act as online payment aggregator
BharatPe said in a statement that "Resilient Payments Pvt Ltd, a BharatPe Group company, has received final authorisation from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to operate as an online payment aggregator."

The RBI has granted BharatPe Group company Resilient Payments final authorisation to function as an online payment aggregator. Resilient will be able to facilitate a number of payment-related services, including transactions via its own payment gateway, thanks to the authorisation.
BharatPe said in a statement that "Resilient Payments Pvt Ltd, a BharatPe Group company, has received final authorisation from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to operate as an online payment aggregator."
In order to support high-growth industries, the company intends to expand its presence in tier 2 and tier 3 cities, scale its payment solutions across a larger merchant base, and make investments in the construction of cutting-edge technological infrastructure.

According to the company, BharatPe Group is in a unique position to close the gap between offline and online commerce because of its extensive presence in the offline payment market and its network of millions of merchants.
According to BharatPe, it is now the only fintech company in India with an NBFC licence (Trillion Loans), a stake in a Small Finance Bank (Unity SFB), and final authorisation to operate as an online payment aggregator.
