Kotak Mahindra Bank and IEPFA partnered to expand investor awareness
The collaboration aims to spread important investor education messages by utilising the bank's vast physical and digital network.

The Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (IEPFA), which is part of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited for the fiscal year 2025–2026 in an effort to increase investor protection and financial literacy throughout India.
The collaboration aims to spread important investor education messages by utilising the bank's vast physical and digital network. A broad and varied audience will be reached by IEPFA's carefully chosen content, which will be shown on a variety of platforms such as ATMs, mobile apps, websites, kiosks, and social media channels.

This content will include informative banners, short films, and instructional videos. Notably, there is no financial exchange involved in the partnership, guaranteeing an economical model to expand outreach initiatives without taxing public coffers.
The MoU was exchanged by Samiksha Lamba, Deputy General Manager of IEPFA, and Vishal Agarwal, Senior Vice President at Kotak Mahindra Bank, in the presence of Anita Shah Akella, CEO of IEPFA and Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. Speaking on the occasion, IEPFA CEO Akella emphasized the importance of “innovative partnerships to advance financial empowerment and investor protection.”
