Indian Overseas Bank Celebrates International Women’s Day 2025
Chennai, March 8, 2025: Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) celebrated International Women’s Day at its Central Office, Chennai, honoring the spirit of women’s empowerment and success.
The event was presided over by Dr. Anita Rajendran, Principal, Krishnaswamy College for Women, Chennai, who delivered an inspiring address to the staff. As part of the celebrations, Dr. P. Chitra, Preventive Health Physician, and Dr. Priyanka Rana Patgiri, Geriatric Consultant, Apollo Main Hospitals, Chennai, shared valuable insights on healthcare and wellness.

IOB also recognized and felicitated women entrepreneurs and customers for their outstanding achievements in their respective fields, presenting them with mementos as a token of appreciation. Additionally, various competitions were conducted for the Bank’s women employees, encouraging them to showcase their talents. The winners were awarded prizes in recognition of their skills and creativity.
