Indian Bank Appoints Venkatachalam Anand as Chief Vigilance Officer

Accordingly, Shri Vishesh Kumar Srivastava, ceased to be CVO of the Bank with effect from 01.04.2025. Shri V. Anand joined as CVO in UCO Bank on 15.01.2024. He continues to hold additional charge as CVO, UCO Bank.

Indian Bank Appoints Venkatachalam Anand as Chief Vigilance Officer

New Delhi: Shri Venkatachalam Anand has been appointed as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Indian Bank with effect from today, i.e. 01.04.2025.

The current CVO Shri Vishesh Kumar Srivastava is transferred to Bank of Baroda as CVO.

Accordingly, Shri Vishesh Kumar Srivastava, ceased to be CVO of the Bank with effect from 01.04.2025. Shri V. Anand joined as CVO in UCO Bank on 15.01.2024. He continues to hold additional charge as CVO, UCO Bank.

He joined the service of Bank of India (BOI) on 05.06.2000 as Senior Manager (Law) after serving as Manager and Assistant Manager in other Public Sector Banks. As AGM, he has worked in Retail Business Centre, Patna and Asset Recovery Branch, New Delhi. He has also worked as Zonal Manager, Kerala for two years.

He was promoted to the rank of General Manager in BOI in the year 2020 and was In-Charge of SARD, Law Department and Recovery Department.

He has vast experience in the banking sector over the past three decades.
