Coal Ministry Honors NCL Two Officials for Excellence at workplace
CMD NCL Mr. B. Sairam and the entire Board of Directors have congratulated the NCL personnel for this special achievement.
On Thursday, Hon'ble Union Minister of Coal and Mines, Government of India, Shri G. Kishan Reddy and Hon'ble Minister of State for Coal and Mines, Government of India, Shri Satish Chandra Dubey felicitated NCL's Regional General Manager (Dudhichua), Shri Vinod Kumar Singh and Senior Overman, Nigahi, Shri Pawan Hembram for their outstanding performance at the workplace.
During a program organized in Delhi, NCL's General Manager of Dudhichua Area, Shri Vinod Kumar Singh was honored for his unwavering dedication to work, successful and efficient leadership and strong teamwork in mine operations and coal production in the financial year 2024-25. Heavy monsoon and adverse conditions badly affected the mine operations in the month of August, but due to the efforts of Mr. Singh, the production of the project reached a stable figure of 90 thousand tonnes per day in a short time, due to which the Dudhichua Project and NCL have got unexpected success in production as per the target of FY 2024-25.
Mr. Pawan Hembram, Senior Overman of NCL's Nigahi Project, made a significant contribution in removing the overload from the West Section of Nigahi Project by coordinating and operating 20m³ shovel, 190 tonne capacity dumper and 24/96 dragline. His efficiency and leadership skills maintained continuity in coal exposure and production.

It is worth noting that in the financial year 2024-25, India has achieved the historic feat of 1 billion tonnes of coal production. In this series, the Ministry of Coal, Government of India felicitated some of the best employees of the subsidiary companies of Coal India Limited for their outstanding contribution in achieving 1 billion tonne coal production. On this occasion, senior officials from the Ministry of Coal, Chairman, Coal India Limited and other senior officials were present.
