Central Coalfields takes over DVC Bermo Mines
Bokaro: Central Coalfields limited (CCL) took over Damodar Valley Corporation's Bermo Mines situated in Bokaro District of Jharkhand in presence of CMD CCL Gopal Singh and Member Secretary, DVC, P K Mukhopadhyay.
The mine has reserve of around 124 MT of washery grade coal. CCL will also acquire more than 400 acres of land with the mine. The transfer of Bermo mines is expected to boost the coal production. The resumption of production will generate employment and will lead the optimum utilization of resources. CCL has set the production target for the current fiscal at 26 lakh tonne.
