Secretary Power Release Coffee Table Book
New Delhi: Shri Subhash Chandra Garg, Secretary, Govt. of India, Ministry of Power, released Coffee Table Book on Bhakra Beas Management Board on 29th July 2019 at Shram Shakti Bhawan, New Delhi.
This Coffee Table Book is compilation of amazing facts, figures and details about BBMB projects which are source of inspiration for the entire nation. This book unveils the interesting untold stories of the contributors to these projects and contains gathas of Green & White Revolutions in India. It also covers Social Welfare Activities carried out by BBMB and depicts panoramic views & pictures of BBMB projects along with their Salient Features.
Shri Subhash Chandra Garg, Secretary (Power) highly appreciated the Coffee Table Book and said that BBMB has put in meticulous efforts to compile the ‘Rise and Shine’ stories of BBMB projects and their benefits to the nation.
Shri D.K. Sharma, Chairman, BBMB apprised that BBMB has dedicated this Coffee Table Book to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives during construction and to the project affected people who provided land for BBMB projects.
On this occasion, Shri D.K. Sharma, Chairman; Shri Tarun Agarwal, Secretary; Shri J. P. Sharma, Jt. Secretary; Shri Anurag Goyal, Dy. Secy. from BBMB and Shri V.P. Singh, Dy. Secretary from the Ministry of Power were present. PIB
