NLC India signed MoA with Anna University Chennai

CHENNAI. A MoA was signed between NLC India Limited and Anna University, Chennai to set up an Innovation and Incubation Centre for promoting the young innovators in specific focus areas aimed to develop the core business activities of NLCIL. The MoA was signed by Dr. V. Manoharan, CGM/CARD & Corporate Environment Cell, Head of R&D, NLCIL and Dr. L.Karunamoothy, Registrar, Anna University.
 
The MoA was exchanged on 30.09.2019 between Dr. V. Manoharan, CGM/CARD & Corporate Environment Cell, Head of R&D, NLCIL and Dr. E. Natarajan, Director, IES, Anna University in the presence of Shri. Rakesh Kumar, CMD, Shri R. Vikraman, Director/HR, Shri N.N.M. Rao, Director/P&P, Shri.Prabhakar Chowki, Director /Mines and Shri Shaji John, Director/Power, at Neyveli .
 
Based on the MoA, Anna University, Chennai will set up ANIHEES in 3000 square feet area and also work station at NLCIL to lead start-ups with support from seed fund by NLCIL with an outlay of Rs.495.65 lakhs for a period of five years. Young innovators will be invited with proposals to develop proof of concepts and prototypes.
