Company Level Bipartite Meeting on Safety-2019
Sambalpur: Company Level Bipartite Meeting on Safety-2019, was held between trade unions and MCL Management at D(T) Conference Hall of MCL HQ on 05.11.2019.It was chaired by Sri O.P.Singh, Director(Tech./Op.), MCL. Sri K. K. Mishra, Director (Tech./P&P), MCL was also present in the meeting. The meeting was attended by all Trade Union Officials, CMOAI Official, all area General Managers, all GMs and HODs of MCL HQ, all Area Safety Officers and all executives of ISO.The meeting started after corporate song and one minute silence for the memory of the miners who lost their precious lives for the industry.
First of all, all the participants of the meeting took safety pledge. Sri S.Roy Choudhury, GM(S&R) welcomed all the participants present in the meeting and highlighted salient and important points on safety achievements and initiatives in the mines of MCL. Later on, Sri C.P. Garg, Chief Manager (Mining) made a power point presentation deliberating the details on safety achievements and initiatives along with accident statistics. Thereafter, detailed discussion with suggestions on Action Taken Report on the minutes of the previousBipartite Meeting was made by the Trade Union Officials. The meeting was concluded with national anthem. Sri D.K.Khanda, Senior Manager (Mining) extended vote of thanks to one and all at the end.
