BPCL Vigilance Chief Meenaxi Rawat Given Additional Charge as MRPL CVO
New Delhi: The Government of India has approved the entrustment of additional charge of the post of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), Mangaluru to Ms. Meenaxi Rawat, IES (1993).
According to an Office Memorandum issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) on January 16, 2026, Ms. Rawat—currently serving as CVO, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Mumbai—will hold the additional charge for a period of six months with effect from December 12, 2025.
The arrangement will remain in force until the appointment of a regular CVO in MRPL or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The decision follows a proposal received from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas and has been approved by the Competent Authority.
MRPL is a key public sector refinery under the administrative control of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, and the vigilance function operates under the overall oversight of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC).
